The Huawei 030MES10C4 is a 1xOC3/POS (Packet over SONET/SDH) interface module designed for optical network transmission applications. This module provides a single OC-3 port operating at 155.52 Mbps, enabling packet-based data transmission over synchronous optical networks.

OC3/POS modules are utilised in telecommunications carrier networks and enterprise WAN environments where legacy SONET/SDH infrastructure requires integration with IP-based packet networks. The module facilitates the encapsulation of IP packets directly over the optical transport layer, providing efficient bandwidth utilisation for data services.
