The Huawei 3HE04821BARA01 (IPUIBU3DAA) is a 100G LR4 CFP optical transceiver module designed for high-capacity data transmission over single-mode fibre. This module supports 100 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity with a reach of up to 10 kilometres, utilising LC duplex connectors for optical interfacing.

CFP 100G LR4 transceivers are deployed in data centre interconnects, metropolitan area networks, and enterprise backbone infrastructure where high-bandwidth, medium-distance optical links are required. The LR4 specification employs four wavelengths at 25Gbps each to achieve the aggregate 100G throughput.

This CFP form factor module represents an earlier generation of 100G optics, commonly found in established network deployments. While newer QSFP28 and QSFP-DD modules have since become standard for 100G applications, CFP-based equipment remains in active service across many carrier and enterprise networks.
