The Huawei 52414034 is an ODU(XMC-3-8G), a full outdoor unit from Huawei’s RTN XMC-3 microwave radio family, operating in the 8 GHz band with a Sub-Band B, low-site frequency plan. As an outdoor unit it integrates the complete radio frequency chain, the transmitter, receiver, local oscillator, diplexer and antenna interface, up- and down-converting between the intermediate-frequency signal exchanged with the indoor unit and the 8 GHz microwave carrier. It connects to the IDU over a single coaxial IF cable and mounts directly behind the antenna or on a remote pole, and ODUs are deployed in matched pairs to form a point-to-point link. The XMC-3-8G is used across Huawei OptiX RTN split-mount systems, for example the RTN 310, 905, 910, 950 and 980, for 2G, 3G, 4G and enterprise microwave backhaul.
