The Huawei CX7Z128CM is a Quidway S5328C-EI Layer 3 Gigabit Ethernet switch chassis from the S5300 enterprise switch series. As supplied it is the switch mainframe, with 24 10/100/1000Base-T ports and 4 Gigabit SFP combo ports, plus two slots for redundant hot-swappable power modules and two extended slots for uplink or stacking subcards (power module and any flexible card ordered separately). The S5328C-EI provides 128 Gbit/s switching capacity and 96 Mpps forwarding, with full Layer 2 switching and Layer 3 routing for enterprise campus access and aggregation. It is the complete switch unit rather than an interface card for another chassis, and supports VLANs, QoS, ACL-based security and IPv4/IPv6 routing.
