The GM51DCSU is a Combined Cabinet Signal Connection Unit for the Huawei BTS3012 base station’s embedded power and signal cabinet, confirmed via Huawei BTS3012 hardware documentation. Fitted in slot 5 of the common subrack, it transfers signals between the common subrack and the cabinet’s top subrack, working alongside the GM51DCCU cable connection unit in slot 6 to complete the subrack’s signal interconnection path. Together these boards allow the BTS3012’s various cards to exchange alarm, control and monitoring signals across the full cabinet rather than being limited to a single subrack. As with other foundational connection boards in the GM51 family, the GM51DCSU is required for correct cabinet-wide signalling and is a common spare for operators maintaining legacy BTS3012 GSM sites as the platform ages out of active production.
