Huawei P02028.A03 JDSU 850nm Dual Rate 1/2Gbps Fibre Channel and Gigabit Ethernet SFP transceiver.

The Huawei P02028.A03 is a JDSU-manufactured SFP transceiver module supporting dual-rate operation at 1Gbps and 2Gbps Fibre Channel, as well as 1000Base-SX Gigabit Ethernet. Operating at 850nm wavelength, this module utilises multimode fibre for short-reach connectivity in data centre and storage area network environments.

This SFP module is designed for deployment in Fibre Channel storage networks and Gigabit Ethernet switching infrastructure. The dual-rate capability provides flexibility for both legacy 1Gbps FC installations and 2Gbps FC upgrades, whilst the 1000Base-SX support enables standard Gigabit Ethernet connectivity over multimode fibre.

As a legacy transceiver module, this part may be suitable for maintaining existing storage and network infrastructure where JDSU-compatible optics are required. The 850nm short-wavelength specification typically supports distances up to 500 metres on OM2 multimode fibre.
