The IBM 45D8503 is a DCA, or distributed converter assembly, recorded here as DCA_GRY. IBM frames of this class do not run from a single central power supply. Bulk power is regulated once at the frame and then distributed, and a DCA sits at each processor book or I/O drawer converting it to the local voltages and providing the redundancy that lets a drawer survive a converter failure. Variants differ by drawer type and machine generation, so the exact suffix is worth checking before you order.

IBM builds its large frame systems, the System z mainframes and the high end Power servers that share their packaging, around a bulk power subsystem rather than around individual power supplies. Mains comes in at the bulk power enclosure, is regulated and controlled there, and is distributed through the frame to converter assemblies at each book and drawer. Blowers, motor drive assemblies and, on the liquid cooled models, refrigeration or water cooling units hold the processor complex in its thermal envelope. Every one of those is a field replaceable unit.
