LSI Logic was incorporated in 1980 and began trading in 1981 in California and later became LSI Corporation, based in Milpitas. It designed semiconductors and software for storage and networking, and its MegaRAID range of RAID controllers and host bus adapters is widely found in servers. Avago Technologies acquired LSI in May 2014, and Avago is now known as Broadcom. Buyers look for LSI SAS and SATA RAID controllers and host bus adapters, often to replace a failed card, to match an existing server build or to extend storage on an older system. The original part number on the card is the easiest way to identify the right match. Tech-Star supplies new and refurbished LSI hardware. Submit any LSI part number through the enquiry form for current pricing, condition and availability.
