BE110257 NEC NEC SL1000/SL1100 PBX Expansion Card

The NEC BE110257 (IP4WW-2BRIDB-C1) is a 2-port ISDN BRI daughter board designed for NEC’s SL1000 and SL1100 business telephone systems. This card provides Basic Rate Interface connectivity, enabling digital trunk or station connections via ISDN technology.

The 2BRIDB-C1 is installed as a daughter card onto a main circuit board within the SL1000 or SL1100 chassis, expanding the system’s ISDN capacity. Each BRI port supports two B-channels for voice or data and one D-channel for signalling, making it suitable for connecting to ISDN lines from telecoms providers or for networking between PBX systems.

The NEC SL1000 and SL1100 platforms are legacy digital PBX systems that remain in operation across many small to medium enterprise environments. While ISDN services are being phased out in many regions, this card remains relevant for maintaining existing installations or for sites where ISDN connectivity is still required.
