NEC H0739C0 Pasolink Microwave Radio

The NEC H0739C0 is an outdoor unit (ODU) from NEC’s Pasolink point-to-point microwave radio family, designated TRP-8G-3A for operation in the 8GHz licensed microwave band. As with the wider Pasolink/iPASOLINK series, the unit mounts outdoors on a tower or building wall directly behind its parabolic antenna and links to an indoor unit (IDU) over coaxial IF cable to complete a full microwave hop. The 8GHz band offers a useful balance of range and capacity and is widely used for regional backhaul, utility and rail communications, and government or private network links where longer hop distances are required than higher-frequency bands allow.
