The NEC MDP-10MB-1A is a PASOLINK Modulator-Demodulator indoor unit (IDU) with 10MB capacity, part of the NEC PASOLINK point-to-point microwave radio system. The MDP-series IDU communicates between 2 and 16 data streams at 2.048 Mbps and/or 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX LAN signals across the microwave link, working alongside a matching TRP-series outdoor transmitter-receiver unit (ODU) to provide short and long-haul microwave transmission for mobile backhaul, broadband and enterprise network links.
