The Nokia 473098A is the AMIA AirScale System Module Indoor, the 3U subrack at the heart of a Nokia AirScale indoor base station. It houses the AirScale common (ASIK/ASIA) and capacity (ABIA/ABIL) plug-in units and provides the backplane, cooling fans and DC power distribution that connect them.

Built to fit a standard 19-inch indoor rack, the AirScale System Module supports multi-technology 4G LTE and 5G NR deployments, accepting up to six AirScale Capacity units alongside the common unit. It runs from a -48V DC feed and carries an IP20 enclosure rating.
