The Nokia C111970 is a CPRT4-A, a Rear Transition Module (RTM) that pairs with a CPU blade in Nokia’s ATCA-based core network platforms. Fitted at the rear of the AdvancedTCA shelf behind its processing blade, the RTM brings out the CPU blade’s external interfaces, such as management, storage and control connections, providing the physical rear I/O for the compute card.

It is used in Nokia’s AdvancedTCA core equipment, including the Media Gateway (MGW) and Mobile Switching Server (MSS). Built to the ATCA form factor, the module supports the carrier-grade redundancy and hot-swap serviceability expected in core network nodes. Supplied as a refurbished unit with warranty, the C111970 is a cost-effective spare for maintaining installed Nokia ATCA core network systems.
