The Nortel AL2012A52 is a BayStack 470-48T-PWR switch, a 48-port 10/100Mbit/s stackable Ethernet switch with Power over Ethernet on its copper ports and two GBIC slots for Gigabit uplinks, part of Nortel’s BayStack access-switch range.

Nortel’s BayStack switch family remains deployed in enterprise wiring closets that have not yet been refreshed, and genuine units and spares are still sought to keep an existing stack running or to replace a failed unit without disturbing the rest of the stack.
