Nortel NTBP21GA: Passport/MSS E1 Function Processor.

The Nortel NTBP21GA is an E1 Function Processor for the Passport/Multiservice Switch (MSS) platform, part of the same NTBP-prefix family of Passport E1/E3 function processors already established in this catalogue. Function processors of this type terminate E1 digital trunks on a Passport or MSS shelf, sitting alongside other function processors handling different interface types on the same platform. Genuine Passport/MSS E1 function processors of this type are a routine requirement for maintaining or expanding E1 trunk capacity on installations of this generation still in service. Confirm the exact Passport/MSS shelf and software release compatibility against your installation before ordering. Tech-Star (UK-based, shipped worldwide) stocks Nortel Passport hardware to support ongoing network maintenance projects, and can help identify the correct function-processor variant for an existing shelf where the original part number is unclear.
