The Nortel NTFT52BP is a TN-1C part. The TN-1C is a standalone SDH add and drop multiplexer from Nortel’s TN transmission range. It multiplexes electrical tributaries, 2 Mbit/s and in some variants 34/45 Mbit/s, into an STM-1 aggregate and carries that aggregate over an optical fibre link, supporting terminal, add and drop, ring and cross connect working.
