Nortel NTN467AH: chassis for the Nortel OPTera Metro 3500 platform.

The Nortel NTN467AH is a chassis for the Nortel OPTera Metro 3500 platform, part of the documented OPTera Metro 3500 shelf-hardware range alongside the platform’s confirmed universal interface and line cards. It provides the physical shelf that houses the OPTera Metro 3500’s transponder, multiplexer and interface cards, along with the platform’s power and backplane interconnect. OPTera Metro 3500 is an entry-level member of Nortel’s OPTera Metro optical transport family, used for lower-capacity metro and access-ring deployments, and genuine chassis units such as this one are a routine requirement for commissioning a new node or replacing a damaged shelf on an existing installation. Specifiers should confirm the exact shelf variant and card-slot compatibility against their specific OPTera Metro 3500 configuration before ordering. Tech-Star (UK-based, shipped worldwide) stocks Nortel OPTera Metro 3500 shelf hardware to support ongoing network maintenance. Please contact our sales team to confirm exact compatibility and for current stock and pricing.
