The Nortel NTPM04AA is an OCLD (Optical Channel Line Deployment) card for the OPTera Metro platform, a 2.5Gbit/s flexible ITU CWDM transponder tuned to 1510nm, converting a client tributary onto that CWDM wavelength for transport over the shared metro fibre. It is part of the same NTPM-prefix OPTera Metro card family as this catalogue’s confirmed CWDM OCLD cards at neighbouring wavelengths, and the CWDM grid means each wavelength is a fixed, non-interchangeable card rather than a tunable one. Confirm the wavelength plan running on your ring before ordering, since fitting the wrong CWDM channel will not pass traffic even though the card looks identical.
