The Nortel TWBSC4600L2 is a C4600 Base Station, the standard radio base station for Nortel’s Companion DECT wireless telephone system. It provides twelve full-duplex TDM channels over the 1880-1900MHz DECT band using ten carrier frequencies, with a transmit power of up to 250mW, linking Companion cordless handsets back to the host PBX or key system. Companion base stations of this generation remain widely deployed across sites still running DECT cordless extensions, and a genuine unit is the standard way to restore coverage after a fault or extend an existing DECT cell layout.
