Philips 9600 017 64100 NEC INT DECT Handset

The Philips 9600 017 64100 is a C124 DECT Handset Kit designed for use with NEC INT (Integrated Network Technology) telephony platforms. This kit provides a complete wireless handset solution for enterprise voice communications, enabling users to make and receive calls whilst moving freely within DECT coverage areas.

The C124 DECT Handset Kit is intended for deployment within NEC business communication systems, providing staff with cordless mobility for internal and external calls. It is particularly suited to environments where users need to remain contactable whilst away from their desks, such as warehouses, retail floors, or large office spaces.

This handset kit forms part of NEC’s legacy DECT portfolio. Whilst newer models may have superseded it in current NEC product lines, the C124 remains a viable option for organisations maintaining existing NEC INT infrastructure or requiring replacement units for established deployments.

Philips moved the SOPHO business into its joint venture with NEC in 2006, and NEC took full ownership in 2008, which is why the same platform also appears under the NEC name.
