Philips 9600 017 87001 NEC DECT Phone Accessory

The Philips 9600 017 87001 is a replacement battery pack designed for NEC DECT cordless handsets. This rechargeable battery provides portable power for wireless voice communication within enterprise telephony environments.

This battery pack is intended for use with NEC’s DECT handset range, supporting mobile workers who require untethered access to the business telephone system. Replacement batteries are essential for maintaining handset uptime and ensuring consistent talk time performance across deployed devices.

NEC DECT solutions have been widely deployed in business environments requiring wireless voice mobility. As handset batteries degrade over time with charge cycles, maintaining spare battery stock ensures continued operation of existing DECT infrastructure without the need for full handset replacement.

The 12NC part number marks this as Philips SOPHO-era hardware; the SOPHO platform passed to the NEC Philips joint venture in 2006 and fully to NEC in 2008, so later stock of the same line carries NEC branding.
