The Philips 9600 582 83245 (IP2WW-EXIFU-A1) is the system interface, or Applications, card for the NEC XN120 telephone system. Fitted to the base board of the 924M main KSU, it carries the connections used to expand and manage the system: a V.24 serial port for SMDR call logging, an Ethernet port for PC programming, the links for up to two 924ME expansion cabinets, and the system software upgrade facility. The card is assigned automatically when the system is powered on and is a required component wherever the XN120 is expanded beyond the main cabinet or administered over a LAN.
