The Siemens 1P S30805-G5412-X is the basic cabinet for the Siemens HiPath AP 3700 IP access point. The AP 3700 IP is a 19-inch, nine-slot peripheral shelf used in the HiPath 4000 IP Distributed Architecture (IPDA), which extends HiPath 4000 telephony to remote sites over an IP network under the control of an NCUI board. This cabinet provides the chassis, backplane and housing that carry the shelf’s control and peripheral modules. It is an access-point shelf for the HiPath 4000 platform, not a wireless LAN access point. As a legacy Siemens product now part of the Unify portfolio, it remains relevant for organisations maintaining or extending installed HiPath 4000 IPDA deployments.
