The Siemens S30810-K2939-Z is an HXGSR2 (version 2) central processor board for the Siemens HiPath 3300 and HiPath 3500 communications systems, the direct predecessor generation to the OpenScape Business X3R/X5R hardware carried elsewhere in this range. It is the system’s main control card, running the call-processing software the rest of the cabinet depends on.

HiPath 3000 and OpenScape Business share compatible chassis and much of the same card family, with OpenScape Business being a later software (and in places hardware) generation of the same product line, so a used HXGSR2 board is still a genuine, useful spare for sites still running HiPath 3300/3500.
