Telco Systems TMC-3208SH: T-Marc 3208SH temperature-hardened Carrier Ethernet demarcation switch for mobile backhaul.
The Telco Systems TMC-3208SH is the T-Marc 3208SH, a temperature-hardened Carrier Ethernet and MPLS demarcation device built for mobile backhaul. It sits at the edge of the operator network, at a cell site or customer premises, and marks the hand-off point between the carrier’s Ethernet service and the equipment it serves.
The 1.5U unit has five 1000BASE-T copper ports and four SFP ports, dual DC power inputs, and two slots for E1/T1 circuit emulation cards, so legacy TDM circuits can be carried over the packet network. Telco Systems is part of the BATM group, and TMC is the prefix of its T-Marc range.
Tech-Star supplies the Telco Systems TMC-3208SH new and refurbished for operators keeping T-Marc backhaul sites in service.
