The Trapeze Networks MX-2800 is a Mobility Exchange MX-2800 WLAN switch/controller, supplied here with its default single AC power supply.

It provides roughly 28Gbps of switching throughput across two 10Gbps and eight 1Gbps ports, and supports large enterprise WLAN deployments of up to 512 802.11n access points and around 12,000 wireless clients. Operating with Trapeze Mobility Point access points and Mobility System Software, the controller centralises policy enforcement while offloading data forwarding to the APs for scalability.

Trapeze Networks was acquired by Juniper Networks in 2010, and this model continued as the Juniper WLC2800 under the same hardware. Tech-Star (UK-based, shipped worldwide) supplies WLAN controllers for ongoing network maintenance. Please contact our sales team for current stock and pricing.
