The 3Com 3C16479 is a Baseline Switch 2824, a 24-port unmanaged Gigabit Ethernet switch with all 24 ports auto-sensing 10/100/1000BASE-TX. It delivers 48Gbps of switching capacity and a 35.7Mpps forwarding rate for wirespeed, non-blocking performance across every port.

The 2824 supports up to 32,000 MAC addresses and IEEE 802.1p traffic prioritisation, uses store-and-forward switching, and requires no configuration for plug-and-play operation. Housed in a compact 1U rack-mountable chassis with a mounting kit for standard 19-inch racks, it draws a maximum of 20W.
