The IBM 03N4469 is a 2-way, 1.5GHz CPU CUoD (Capacity Upgrade on Demand) processor card for the RS/6000 and AS/400 families, known by the internal engineering codename Casper. CUoD processor cards of this generation ship with part of their processor capacity inactive until it is licensed and activated on demand, letting a customer scale up compute without a physical hardware swap, a feature IBM used across its Power4 and early Power5-generation RS/6000 and AS/400 systems. The 1.5GHz clock speed and 2-way configuration place this card within IBM’s POWER4+/POWER5-era processor range for that server family.
