The IBM 10N7433 is a Feature #5737 PCI-X DDR dual-channel Ultra320 SCSI RAID adapter, CCIN 571B, carrying 90MB of write cache and supporting RAID 0, 5, 6 and 10 across up to 30 disk drives on its two SCSI buses. It was IBM’s higher-end SCSI RAID option for pSeries and OpenPower systems still using direct-attached SCSI storage rather than Fibre Channel or SAS, giving those hosts hardware RAID protection and cached write performance without needing an external storage controller.
