The IBM 41T9377 is an MDA, the motor drive assembly used in IBM frame cooling, listed as MDA_SEN. It powers and regulates the blowers or pump motors that move air or coolant through the machine, and reports their state back so that a degrading fan is picked up before it becomes a thermal problem. Cooling hardware varies considerably between machine types and between air and liquid cooled models, so tell us which system this is for.
