The Digital Equipment Corporation DGSRT-AA is a 8-port Fast Ethernet module with 10/100BASE-TX copper connections. Eight autosensing copper ports from one slot suited wiring-closet duty where most attached devices were still on 10 Mbps but individual servers needed 100. Autosensing means the two speeds can be mixed on the same module without manual configuration.

DEChub 900 MultiSwitch chassis are still found in long-lived campus and industrial installations, and modules are ordered as spares because the platform has no current equivalent. Digital’s network products division went to Cabletron Systems in 1998.
