The Aastra 6731i is a SIP-based IP desk phone designed for enterprise voice communications. This entry-level model features a monochrome display and delivers reliable VoIP functionality for general office telephony requirements. The unit is supplied without a power adapter, requiring either Power over Ethernet (PoE) or a separately sourced AC adapter.

The 6731i belongs to Aastra’s 6700i series of SIP telephones, which were widely deployed in business environments running standards-based SIP platforms. The handset integrates with a broad range of IP-PBX systems and hosted VoIP services that support standard SIP protocols.

Aastra was acquired by Mitel in 2014, and the 6700i series has since been discontinued. However, these handsets remain in active service across many legacy installations where SIP compatibility and cost-effective endpoint refresh are priorities. This refurbished Grade A unit offers a serviceable option for maintaining or expanding existing deployments.
