The W-AP277 is part of Dell’s partnership with Aruba Networks, providing enterprise-grade outdoor wireless coverage for campus networks, warehouses, outdoor public spaces, and industrial facilities. It integrates with Aruba mobility controllers for centralised management and policy enforcement.

This model represents an earlier generation of outdoor 802.11ac access points from the Dell/Aruba collaboration.
