Nokia 472311A Optical Transport Telecom System Card / Module

The Nokia 472311A is the FTIF, a Flexi transmission (transport) sub-module that plugs into the FSMF Flexi Multiradio 10 System Module. It provides the base station’s transport interfaces, adding PDH and Ethernet connectivity so the BTS can hand traffic to the backhaul network. Fitted as a transport plate within the Flexi system module, it extends the module’s native interfaces for sites that need additional or mixed backhaul options. The compact sub-module is designed for indoor and outdoor Flexi cabinets and shelters. Within the Nokia Flexi Multiradio platform the FTIF supplies the transmission layer that connects the radio site to the operator’s transport network. It is supplied refurbished as a spare or upgrade part.
