The Huawei 020VWW is the SLB1CSHN (CSHN), a hybrid system control, cross-connect and timing board for the OptiX RTN 950 microwave transmission system. It combines the indoor unit’s core control-plane functions on a single board: system control and communication, full time-division (TDM) cross-connection, packet switching and clock/timing processing. Fitted in the main control slot of the RTN 950 IDU, the CSHN grooms and switches both TDM and Ethernet/packet services carried across the microwave links, making it central to Hybrid microwave deployments used for 2G, 3G and LTE mobile backhaul.
