The Huawei WP11SCUA is an SCUa, the switching and control board for the Huawei BSC6900 base station controller. It provides the MAC and Gigabit Ethernet switching fabric that converges ATM and IP traffic inside the controller, offering up to 60 Gbit/s of switching capacity, and it also distributes clock and RFN signals and monitors the power, fans and environment of the subrack. It is a switching and control board, not an optical transmission unit. The SCUa installs in a PARC subrack, normally as a redundant pair, and forms the backbone that connects the processing (DPU/XPU) and interface (FG2/GOU/PEU) boards.
