The Huawei 021SJC is an SSN2PQ1B03 service processing board that provides 63 E1 electrical interfaces for the Huawei OptiX OSN SDH/MSTP transmission family. The PQ1 board terminates and processes up to 63 channels of 2 Mbit/s E1 PDH traffic, handling overhead bytes, alarm and performance reporting, and loopback and maintenance functions, and it supports Tributary Protection Switching (TPS). The B variant presents the E1 signals at 120 ohm (balanced), distinguishing it from the 75 ohm SSN2PQ1A. It is a tributary card that plugs into OptiX OSN 3500 and related SDH subracks, aggregating legacy E1 services onto the synchronous transport network.
