020DCM Huawei OptiX OSN System Module

The Huawei 020DCM is a System Control and Communication board, designated SSN3GSCC02, designed for use within Huawei’s OptiX OSN series optical transmission platforms. This board provides essential system management, control plane processing, and communication functions that are critical to the operation of the transmission node.

The GSCC02 board serves as the main control unit within OptiX OSN equipment, handling system initialisation, configuration management, alarm reporting, and inter-board communication. It enables network element management via standard interfaces and supports the overall coordination of cross-connect and tributary functions within the chassis.

This is a legacy component from Huawei’s established OptiX OSN transmission portfolio, which has been widely deployed in telecommunications carrier networks and large enterprise optical transport applications.
