Nokia 472100B Optical Networks Optical Transmission Module

The Nokia 472100B is an FRGP, a Flexi RF Module for the 2100 MHz band used in Nokia Flexi Multiradio base stations. It is a software-definable radio module supporting concurrent WCDMA and LTE operation, with the air interface technology selected by software. The FRGP is a triple-sector module providing three transmit and six receive paths (3T6R) in Band 1, with an output power in the region of 3 x 60-70 W.

The module connects to the Flexi system module over optical interfaces and can be sited remotely from it, extending radio coverage away from the baseband unit. As a remote or cabinet-mounted radio head it handles the power amplification, filtering and transceiver functions for the cell. Supplied as a fully tested refurbished unit with warranty, the 472100B is a practical spare for expanding or maintaining 2100 MHz Nokia Flexi Multiradio radio deployments.
