The Nokia C109519 is an ET16 card, an exchange terminal board for the Nokia DX200 platform providing sixteen E1 or T1 digital line interfaces. It terminates 16x 2Mbit/s E1 (or 1.5Mbit/s T1) PCM transmission links into the DX200 exchange, carrying the traffic and signalling for core-network elements such as the BSC and MSC. The ET16 is a plug-in transmission-interface cartridge, not an optical-transport module, and installs in a DX200 cartridge shelf alongside the platform control and switching boards.
