The Siemens AOG11124 is a VDSL2 48-port interface unit, carrying the material code S50028-Q2062-B2-13. It is a subscriber line card for the Nokia Siemens Networks Surpass hiX 5600 series multi-service access node (MSAN) and IP DSLAM platform, providing 48 ports of VDSL2 broadband connectivity to deliver high-speed data services over copper access lines. The card installs into a Surpass hiX shelf where it terminates subscriber VDSL2 lines and aggregates their traffic back through the node to the network. The Surpass hiX 5600 family was widely deployed by carriers for broadband access, so refurbished interface units remain in demand for maintaining and expanding installed MSAN estates.
