The Siemens S30810-Q2224-X000-07 is an MTSCG central board for the Hicom 300E and HiPath 4000 communication systems. The MTSCG combines a Memory Time Switch, the central switching matrix that connects the speech and data highways across the system, with a Network Clock Generator that supplies and synchronises the platform’s timing to either an internal reference or an external clock source. As a central board it sits at the core of the system rather than on the line or trunk side, and a working MTSCG is required for the switching network and clocking to operate. This -X000-07 revision corresponds to a specific hardware state of the board. This is legacy Siemens equipment from before the Unify rebrand; the systems remain in service but the boards are no longer manufactured, so the MTSCG is a critical maintenance spare.
