The Nokia 471720A.104 is an FTIB (Flexi Transport Interface Board), a transport sub-module for the Nokia Flexi Multiradio base station platform. It plugs into a Flexi System Module such as the FSMF or FSME and adds packet and TDM transport interfaces to the base station. The FTIB provides PDH, Ethernet and Timing-over-Packet (ToP) connectivity, extending the transmission options of the host BTS for mobile backhaul across 2G, 3G and LTE sites. Deployed in Flexi Multiradio 10 BTS cabinets, it lets operators aggregate cell-site traffic and synchronise the network over legacy and IP transport. This is the .104 hardware revision.
