The Nokia 472311A 102 is an FTIF (Flexi Transport Interface), a transmission sub-module for the Nokia Flexi Multiradio 10 base station. It fits onto a Flexi System Module such as the FSMF and adds transport interfaces to the BTS, providing PDH and Ethernet connectivity for mobile backhaul. The FTIF extends the host system module’s transmission capability so operators can carry cell-site traffic over legacy TDM and packet networks across 2G, 3G and LTE layers. It is deployed inside Flexi Multiradio 10 BTS cabinets as part of the base-station transport chain. This is the .102 hardware revision.
