The NEC NWA-096320 is the base indoor unit (IDU) order code for the NEC iPASOLINK VR10, comprising the 12-slot IDU chassis (MDP-1200MB-1BB) populated with the MC-MV main card, TERM-MV terminal card, FAN-MV fan module and PS-MV power supply. The iPASOLINK VR10 is part of NEC’s converged packet microwave and optical transport platform, used in carrier and enterprise backhaul networks. The main card handles system control and management for the shelf, while the terminal, fan and power modules provide EOW terminal access, cooling and DC power respectively; traffic-carrying modem and interface cards are ordered separately and slot into the chassis.
