Siemens S42024-D5091-A100-15 HiPath 3000/4000 PBX Card / Module

The Siemens S42024-D5091-A100-15 is an E155P-4 electrical tributary interface card for the Siemens SURPASS hiT SDH transmission platform. It provides four electrical STM-1 ports operating at 155 Mbps, presenting SDH tributary connections over coaxial interfaces rather than optical fibre. The card is installed in the tributary slots of the SURPASS multiplexer, where it terminates or hands off STM-1 electrical signals to and from co-located equipment in a central office or transmission node. This is synchronous digital hierarchy (SDH) transport equipment, not a PBX trunk card: the 155 Mbps electrical STM-1 interface carries aggregated traffic across the carrier transport network. The SURPASS hiT family was developed by Siemens for metro and backhaul networks and later passed to Nokia Siemens Networks.
