The Huawei SLB2CSHNU is a system control, cross-connect and switching board (CSHN) for the OptiX RTN 950 and RTN 980 microwave transmission platforms, fitted in the indoor unit (IDU). It consolidates the node control functions on a single card: system control and communications, packet switching, TDM cross-connect, and clock and timing generation. The board manages the IF and service interface cards in the shelf, handles configuration and alarm collection, and keeps traffic moving between the indoor unit and the outdoor radio units. The SLB2CSHNU is used in mobile backhaul and enterprise microwave networks based on the RTN 900 family. Supplied refurbished, it is a cost-effective spare for keeping an existing RTN deployment running or extending it. Pricing is available on request.
