The Huawei TNN1EG8 is an 8-port Gigabit Ethernet processing board for the OptiX OSN series optical transmission platforms. It receives and forwards up to eight GE data services, providing Layer 2 switching and processing so that Ethernet traffic can be aggregated and carried across the SDH/MSTP or OTN transport network. The board supports QoS handling such as traffic management, congestion control and queue scheduling for the packets it carries, and works alongside the system control and line boards in the OSN shelf. The TNN1EG8 is used in metropolitan and access transport networks that combine Ethernet and traditional transmission services on the OptiX OSN platform. Supplied refurbished, it is a cost-effective spare for maintaining or expanding an existing OSN deployment. Pricing is available on request.
