The Huawei UG0E3MDDB is a board for the UMG8900 Universal Media Gateway, Huawei’s carrier-class media gateway used in Next Generation Network (NGN) and mobile core deployments. It installs into the UMG8900 shelf as part of the platform’s modular service and interface architecture, working alongside the gateway’s control, switching and timing boards to deliver TDM and packet media gateway functions between circuit-switched and packet networks. As a plug-in module within the gateway, it is provisioned and managed through the UMG8900 system software. The UG0E3MDDB is deployed in operator core networks that bridge legacy TDM voice and IP-based transport. Supplied refurbished, it is a suitable spare when maintaining or extending an existing UMG8900 installation. Pricing is available on request.
