The Nortel NTEU20AA is an STM-4 tributary/aggregate card for the Optical Metro 4000 platform, Nortel’s SDH transmission system for multiservice STM-4/16 access, metro edge and regional networks.

The card provides an STM-4 (622Mbit/s) interface, used either as a higher-rate tributary or as an aggregate port carrying the SDH ring traffic for an Optical Metro 4000 shelf. It is part of the same tributary/aggregate card family as the STM-1E NTEU13AA and STM2E quad NTEU16QA, with several documented build revisions (04, 05, 07, 10) across the installed base.
